INTERIOR INSPIRATIONS ABOUND IN CUSTOM RIGS
Show trucks filled with innovations; just look inside
One of the things I really get excited about attending a truck beauty show the size of the Great American Trucking Show is seeing the brand new custom creations.
Every new custom rig brings som
ething special to the customizing table. Take interiors, for example.
If you didn’t make it to GATS, or somehow missed looking inside the cabs of some of the first-time entrants, you really missed seeing some great craftsmanship.
I marvelled at the upholstery work shown in trucks built by the Texas Chrome Shop and the Chrome Shop Mafia. Those same creations also sported some of the finest custom fiberglass work I’ve seen in years.
The sleeper of CSM’s Ivy’s Poison and cab of TCS’ Project 1 should be an inspiration to any custom truck builder.
I saw a number of other first-time Pride & Polish entrants with very nice interiors and custom touches. Seeing such handiwork is just part of the fun in attending truck beauty shows.
