the black mistress
well when i found her she was a stripped down mess i started with the motor a 350 cummins i rebuilt it jig timed an big buttons an so on the tranny was a direct 9 that i turned around an put a 13 speed back box on then i put 3:70's out back on reyco springs yes springs i cut the lil 36 inch square door bunk in half an added around 4 feet to it to make room for my recliner then did the frame about the same it ended up around 293 inches then i added 2 more 100 gallon tanks to fill the gaps the chrome was all rusted so i just sanded it an painted it all including the grill all my friends thought i had done lost my mind for i am an admitted chromeaholic but i had a tight budget the headlights are off an ole tractor an the bumper was a bent up bolt-less bumper that my friend had not clearance lights or horns just because i couldn't afford them i painted it a black semi-gloss enamel with a lil bit of flatner i didnt want it to be flashy or stand out to much didnt wont the d.o.t. to mess with me to much with such an ole truck but anyway she is not an antique she is a worker she hauls tombstones from elberton georgia to all over the country her first trip was to kansas an she didnt have any problems haulin but fitting in maybe kinda like me!!
