Lacks “mag” wheel covers to provide an alternative approach to dually wheel design

Lacks Wheel Trim Systems, LLC has teamed up with Chrome Shop Mafia (4 State Trucks) to exhibit a new concept in wheel trim design for Heavy Truck Application.

The patent-pending product was unveiled at the Chrome Shop Mafia (4 State Trucks) “Guilty by Association” Truck Show and Expo held October 9 and 10, 2009 in Joplin, MO.

“This mag wheel cover concept is in fact completely new to the Heavy Truck Industry,” says  Paul Grill, sales manager for the newly formed Lacks Commercial Highway Products divison, “and will provide an alternative approach to outer dually wheel design beyond the currently available wheel trim in the marketplace.”

Whether steel or aluminum wheels are used, the new TRAKTRchrome™ developed by Lacks Wheel Trim Systems will dramatically change your wheels (and vehicle) appearance to look like Highly Styled Chrome Plated Aluminum “Mag” Wheels.  A fresh new look for Heavy Truck wheels previously only available to automotive.

Lacks has taken advantage of their successful Chromtec® wheel technology and their many years of success in this marketplace in developing the new TRAKTRchrome™ concept for Heavy Truck.

Like Chromtec® TRAKTRchrome™ is made of a high impact composite material that resists dents and dings.  TRAKTRchrome™ does not require buffing and maintains a high luster chrome finish for many years.  Additionally TRAKTRchrome™ is easy to maintain and clean by simply using ordinary soap and water.  Lacks success with Chromtec® is proven with over 15 million Chromtec® wheels on the road since its inception in 1997.

The ease of maintenance will make this product very desirable.  It is of very high quality and can eliminate the need to polish aluminum wheels therefore dramatically reducing overall wheel maintenance costs.
