Randy Stroup’s new creation, a 2005 Peterbilt 379 and matching tanker dubbed First Gear (pictured above), took home the hardware for Best of Show in the limited-mileage combo category this weekend at the first Pride & Polish show of the year in Wildwood, Fla.

More than $30,000 in cash and prizes will be on the line at Shell Rotella SuperRigs’ 30th anniversary competition May 17-19 at the Speedco in Joplin, Mo.
A truck parade will be held in downtown Joplin, as well as concerts and fireworks.
Speedco will host this year’s event adjacent to its Joplin store, just off I-44 at exit 11. Speedco will also hold a grand re-opening celebration for the Joplin location, which was severely damaged by last year’s tornado.
